About

Antoinette Momtahan is an artist living and working in London. Antoinette has exhibited widely both in London and the UK. Her work can be found in collections at the Victoria and Albert Museum and Scarborough Museum. Working with etching and relief printing Antoinette continues to explore and record the tensions and freedoms which cross both physical and psychological barriers. Many of the overarching themes in her work come back to her own family history of migration looking at dialogues, transformations, alignments, meeting points, and ways of crossing borders and barriers and the search for quiet places. Her interests are wide including music, astronomy, poetry and architecture.
